So what has been up with The Monkey’s Trunk E-Zine? Did we throw in the towel? Did someone kill the crazy looking monkey? Did the terrorists win? The answer to those burning questions and more would have to be simply “NO!”.

We are back for 2008! After a bit of time off, and a huge update to the site, we are once again hitting the streets and taking names. We have made a couple of changes to The Monkey’s Trunk E-zine. We are not releasing 6 issues a year anymore, instead we are going down to 4 issues per year. This will drastically increase the quality of the E-Zine as well as the content.

Now you may ask, “But what happens for any events or updates that happen in between issues?” We all know a lot happens in 3 months in the Subie community. We will be doing news/event/project car updates on our website, which was one of the big factors for going the direction we did. Will we ever do away with the PDF file E-Zine? NEVER! this is what made us what we are today.

You also will notice the new models section. We will be updating this section of the site as often as possible. We do ask that you register to see the model photos, but also by registering you can comment on current news, or make your opinion heard within some of the news reported.
Two more words that will be important to our fans: RSS FEEDS! Now you can sign up for our RSS feeds to automatically notify you of anything new to our website so you can be in constant supply of any new or breaking TMT news whenever you open up your browser.

As always don’t forget to visit our online store to get a hold of the latest and greatest of WRC DVD’s, TMT Monkey decals and more. A must have for any Subie or Rally nut!

that's weird, we havent tested it with the program quickzip. It has been tested on stuffit for mac, windows zip, winzip, and winrar. all are either built in or are downloadable for free.

We have plenty of models on the way. While she may not be your "type" we are trying to show a multitude of models not just "asians, latina, caucasians, etc" . There are some mainstream magazines that feature exclusively asian women. We like to show varying types that while they may not rock your boat they may do it for others. Also we prefer our models to have some personality and not just be a vaccumous glare like some we've seen and even almost worked with.
Don't fret though as we will have plenty of other models who may be right up your alley.

We've already shot one in the studio and would just need to do the cover/ect. this has been on the table for while with TMT. From a model standpoint, i think the biggest issue has been trying to find the right model to do this. Alot of black girls are shunned away from the import model scene. (this is true, the girl mentioned in the above thread by TMT was one of them).most of the import world (subaru's, evos, hondas, and nissans) are believed to use asian models with asian cars". This isn't how we think for TMT. We really want to expand out, ethnicity doesnt matter. It's just been easier to find the asian models due to the asian models posing with cars at carshows.

If you guys know the talent who are willing to pose with cars and what not, we are always accepting applications.
