I am installing an autometer boost gauge and I am using the triple gauge pod that replaces the clock on my 03 wrx. I was going to tap into the wiring for the clock for the light on the boost gauge. There are 4 wires, one of them being the ground. I was going to solder the ground to that one.

My question is which of the other three would/should I use for the power. I have a wiring schematic for the clock power cord and it shows all three of the others going to power supply routing. One of them has a (B), one has (ACC) and the other doesn't have anything other than the fuse number. Any idea's which I should use. I was going to use the ACC one, but wanted to make sure before I did anything.

Thanks in advance for any and all help,
Adam

The ACC is for accessory power so it only turns on when the key is turned to ACC. You don't want the lights to turn on in the ACC mode. The clock also needs continious power for the memory and I think the line marked B is for that one. So this leaves the line with a fuse number marked on it to tie to. To prove it, check the voltage on that lead with the key OFF. If you get voltage there after the key is turned to ON or RUN then that is the correct lead to tie to.
