We have a 6 Speed transmission for sale. It's just been rebuilt and completely checked over. The 1st and 2nd gear syncro sets have been replaced as well as the 1/2 hub and slider. The transmission is in perfect condition and ready to run. For those considering a 6 speed swap it's a sure bet that this transmission is going to work perfectly the first time, something you don't get with used parts.

Price lowered to $3000. The transmission is in excellent shape, 1st and 2nd syncros were replaced and a new 1st-2nd hub/slider was installed as we had a new one here. Every internal part has been cleaned and pre oiled including the ACD unit.

You'd need to find some more parts and we can talk about labor on the phone if you want. It'll be easier. You'll need a shifter, axles, rear diff, spindles and a DCCD controller.

Any interest in a swap for a ppg dogbox?

we'll ship it anywhere within the contiguous USA for $300 flat. That includes packing and palletting.

Amazake, even though the trade would be a financial "good deal" for us provided that the dogbox is in good shape we would have a much harder time selling it so I think we'll hold off on trades for the time being.

AFAIK 04-05 have same rear diff ratio (3.9). It's 06+ that have 3.54.

If you wanted to do something like that we would be glad to get the rest of the parts. We would be ordering them from Subaru. We would just order everything from the dealer. You are welcome to find the remainder of the parts used but we can't simply because we don't have the time to dedicate to it.

No matter how you cut it, new or used parts this transmission is worth buying because it's guaranteed, and it's a very very competitive price.

It will depend a little bit on the rear differential and what you decide to do.

With Thanksgiving next week it might be best to start either early next week or right after. I think you'd be without your car for 3 days or so.
