It stated on their website that it needs minor modification to 06 + wrx models.

DOes anyone know what the minor modifications are?

Bending the coolant hardline and possibly cutting the header heat shield.

Easy. It's the heatshield part that pushed me away. I got the relocation kit and a block adaptor and used the galley plugs instead of using the sandwich adaptor.

Have you considered installing sensors in the two oil galley plugs located on the top of the motor? I installed my oil pressure and temp sensors in these locations and it is quite an easy install. I have a 02 so I'm not positive that the 2.5L's have the same oil galley plugs. Just a different option you might want to look into if intetersted.

Oil pressure in the rear with remote relocation kit (http://prosportgauges.com/remote-oil-pressure-sender-installation-kit.aspx)
can be seen here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1253467

If you're also doing a temp sensor get this block adaptor http://prosportgauges.com/subaru-oil-galley-plug.aspx
remove the alternator, unscrew stock oil pressure dummy light, screw in your adapter, then screw your temp (or pressure, you can put the pressure up front and the temp in the rear galley if you choose.) into the block adaptor, route it to your cabin, and replace alternator.

Just search it. It's pretty simple.

Note: I'm assuming you're using Prosport gauges since you posted the link to the Prosport sandwich adapter...Prosport uses 1/8" NPT threads while subaru and other companies use 1/8" BSPT threads.
