anyone know how to adjust the stock HID's? my driver side low beam points to the sky and i can't figure out how to bring it down. The 3 setting adjustment motor is working and moves it even higher so i need to bring it back down to the level of the passenger side. any idea??

thanks!

There is an adjustment screw on the backside of the light housing. The bolt is hard to get to....but use a philips screw driver on the castle washer looking thing from the top. Once you see it you should understand. ;)

Yes there should be an 8mm adjustment nut right in the middle of the back of the housing.... clockwise is down, counterclockwise is up. You should be able to get to it with a simple socket wrench, maybe with a small extension. Otherwise, check to make sure your bulb is sitting right in the housing, and that the housing is attached right on the bumper/frame.

By the sounds of it, your reflector assembly could have popped off the leveling ball. That sounds really confusing, but it's clear in my head... Anyways, your adjustment screw has a ball on the end, that ball pops into a socket on the reflector assembly. If the lights are adjusted too low, either manually, or by motor, that ball can pop out of the socket. It's happened to me once before. Turns out I had the headlight adjusted too low and when I turned the switch to make it go even lower, it pulled the ball right out of the socket.

Quick fix, take out the bulb and stick a finger inside the reflector assembly. Pull down and towards the back of the headlight assembly to pop it back in.
