Does anyone know where to find the VSS wire on an 05 Outback 2.5? I know, strange question but if anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

There is a plug on the firewall next to the engine torque mount bracket. A section of harness plugs into that and goes to the VSS.
