Hopefully someone has run into this issue before when swapping out gauges. I'm trying to swap in a JDM legacy STI gauge cluster into my Baja Turbo (same platform as legacy). The problem I'm experiencing is when I installed the STI gauge cluster the speed on the speedometer is way off (50-100kms....japan is in KMS). I was thinking that what ever sends the signal from the transmission to the speedo needs to be changed (Vehicle speed sensor?) to accomodate the new cluster.......please chime in if I'm way out to lunch. The Sti speedo tops out at 300kms/hr (I guess 186 miles/hr). If this is the case does anyone know where I could get an appropriate VSS?

Thanks,
Joe

The VSS is the same. You can make the KPH cluster read in MPH with one of these.

I bought the whole cable section it works great. I have had no problems with it.
