Welcome to the start of the 2007 World Rally Championship. This year's season features all new rallys, teams and cars. Last year's champion, Sebastien Loeb, returns from injury and is ready to do battle with "the Flying Finn" Marcus Gronholm and Subaru's Petter Solberg for the title of World Champion.
Round 1 - Rallye Automobile Monte Carlo The season opener in Monte Carlo marks the 75th running of this rally. This year's event features all new stages and the return of the night time stages.
Round 2 - Uddeholm Swedish Rally First of 2 back to back snow rallies, Sweden features subzero temperatures, heavy snow coverage and speeds in excess of 125 mph!
Round 3 - Rally Norway The inaugural Rally Norway features very narrow and twisty mountain roads as well as wide open high speed sections. With no room for error, this 3rd stop in the championship will prove to be an exciting one.

The World Rally Championship revs into high gear heading to its only North America event in Mexico. With three events down and three different winners, the 2007 season has jumped out to an exciting start. All the top teams are looking to break away from the pack as the season gets into full swing.
Round 4 - Corona Rally Mexico
The 1st gravel event of the year, the drivers have to endure over 360 competitive kilometers and 20 stages at altitude, where one problem stands out...power.
Round 5 - Vodafone Rally de Portugal
Portugal is back on the schedule after a five year absence. With lots of corners over crest and technical sections, Portugal contains some of the most difficult stages in the WRC.
Round 6 - Rally Argentina
Rally Argentina features some of the most varied stages in the championship. One constant though, is the water splashes; about thirty of them await the drivers as they tackle the roughed terrain of Argentina.

The WRC hits full stride as the championship heads back to Europe. Teams are working frantically to gain every possible advantage heading into the mid-season break. With 2 rounds left to go, it's anybody's guess who will come out on top.

The island of Sardinia plays host to over 18 special stages on some of the WRC's most challenging roads. With fine, loose gravel on top of a hard surface, tire choice will be critical for success in this rally.
Round 8 - BP Ultimate Acropolis Rally of Greece
The Acropolis Rally features a combination of fast and rocky terrains which will push the drivers and cars to their limit. Triple digit temperatures and rough terrain in this classic rally have been known to retire more than a few participants in the past.

After a two month break the WRC returns to the Motorsports world stage. With eight events down and eight to go, it's already been a see-saw battle for the lead. This year's championship is turning into a spectacular one with Marcus Gronholm leading the Drivers' championship by 9 points over his rival Sebastien Loeb.
Mid-Season Review
The 2007 World Rally Championship has reached its halfway point. The Mid-Season Review will get you caught up on all the action of the first eight events of the year, from the 75th running of the Monte Carlo Rallye to the Acropolis Rally.
Round 9 - Neste Oil Rally Finland
Finland is the fastest and most spectacular event of the year. Famous for its high speed gravel roads, crests and jumps, the 57th running of this rally will also see the debut of the new 2007 Ford Focus RS WRC car.
Round 10 - ADAC Rallye Deutschland
The second asphalt rally of the season features one of the widest varieties of terrain in the Championship. Germany features long straights and hairpins, making handbraking skills essential. Drivers must pay special attention to the concrete hinklestein barriers which have caused some spectacular crashes in the past.

With 3 gravel and 3 tarmac events left to go in the season, the pressure is on Marcus Gronholm and Sebastien Loeb to challenge each other for the championship. It's going to be an all out war with only 8 points separating the two rivals.

Pack your bags as the WRC heads down under to the majestic country of New Zealand. Here, teams will tackle 18 stages over 354 competitive km on the smooth, lightening fast gravel roads that will push drivers to the limit.
Round 12 - Rally RACC Catalunya - Costa Daurada
The wide, sweeping asphalt roads of Catalunya provide the fastest sealed-surface stages of the season. Racing technique is critical here as drivers aim for smooth lines through the fast turns to maximize their speed.
Round 13 - Rallye de France - Tour de Corse Nicknamed the rally of 10,000 corners, Rallye de France on the beautiful island of Corsica features tight and twisty roads. Drivers must thread the thin line between the towering cliffs on one side and the gut-wrenching drops on the other in order to survive this rally.

A new event on the WRC schedule, Rally Ireland features scenic locales and narrow bumpy roads, typical of the Irish landscape. With the championship race hitting epic heights heading into the penultimate round, this could be the one that decides it all.
Round 16 - Wales Rally GB
Sebastien Loeb and Marcus Gronholm are separated by just 6 points in the Drivers Championship; it will all be decided over the next 17 stages, at Wales Rally GB. As if the Welsh winter weather wasn't enough to contend with, the forest stages are lined with unforgiving trees and rocks that could take out even the best of drivers.
