I've been running a UTEC on my WRX for years with good results. I'd never tuned a car before and it allowed me to start off slow with an off the shelf map and work my way up to my current tune with a VF22, injectors, pump, TMIC, etc. It was tons of fun. Sure a COBB AccessPort is easier, but for the true do-it-yourselfer the UTEC is a great alternative! :)
