HI guys,

Well after my last trip into town, and all the crap that happened to my poor wagon..my sister quite driving my Impreza until it goes to Conti . This time around Im not sure if I should just go for all strut replacements or go for coilovers. Ive wanted to but couldnt justify the cost with the wife. Now that I can, and she actually approved the turbo build, and strut bars, and new rear diff bushing, tranny mounts. Anyone got any oppinions on the Cusco Zero1 c.o.'s or any other set up that possibly could be a little cheaper? I need it to be kinda soft-ish for the drive down the alcan this May...I found some on ebay but not sure I trust em..but any comments or ideas?

Yeah, all the GC/GM/GF coil overs are the same. There aren't many that are sedan/wagon specific. According to Tein's website all coil overs for our cars will fit. Here is a link to Tein's 2009 suspension offering for Subaru starting with, you guessed it, the GC/GF. http://www.tein.com/price/subaru.html. Soft Riding is all up to personal preferance. Like I have 340#in springs on my car and think it rides just fine, granted a little bumpy now and then but overall ok. My buddies think its way to stiff for a daily driver. If you want I'll take you for a ride so you can feel how stiff my springs are to help with your decision. My # is 360-1910.

yeah, Ive heard good about both. Id love to take a ride with you Montana to see what it rides like but im not in Anc any more. I moved to the bethel area in May. How the tails working out for yah? Now that Ive started to think about it either Teins with the 340 springs or the HKS's. I loved the way my brothers S-10 rode with Bilstiens tho. Any body got anything to help me decide? On a side note...after talking about it with my wife..she wants a Forester, and let me keep the wgn as a play toy..but i like the Tein Flex idea of adjustable dampening on the fly, would help greatly on the alcan, but we'll see what she needs after her check up, after my brother pulls my vin and i schedule her in at conti...
