I was wondering if batteries are car specific or just kinda "if they fit in they tray they r good" type deal?

I almost wasn't going to do this, but then I saw you couldn't help but make two threads for the same question.

Doing a TINY bit of research would answer your question. You need to meet minimum specs, as well as size and shape restrictions. You COULD have gone to literally any car parts website, and looked up the battery for your car. They all have little wizards to step through.

Next time, a single thread will suffice.

Agreed, you can go to just about any battery co's website and type in your car and get what you need (kind of like tire rack). Your owner's manual might also have some info on minimum spec.
