Hey I dunno if this has been done before, but if it hasnt, it would be cool to see....i was thinking, the outback looks almost like the 2.5RS from the front...why not combine the front of a 2.5 with the rear of an outback and make a subaru hatchback? I know, I know, subaru wasn't meant to be a hatchback, but it would be cool to see, and if i actually had any skills whatsoever, id try myself

No the outback is a wagon...i mean a two door hatchback...should have been more specific

None of the Outback series is a hatchback, as far as I know. They're all wagons, except the Legacy Outback Sedan. That's part of the confusion here about what you said. I'm not into hatchbacks.http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

Yes...they are wagons....the idea is to make a photochop of a hatchback...photochop a wagon with a coupe to make a hatchback with two doors...STiShawn did a great job of it

Whether you call it a 2-door hatch (yeah, I know some folks don't like that word),or a 2-door "Sportwagon", I like the concept, and I'd buy one as well.

I need the utility of a hatch or wagon, but like the looks of a 2-door. But I wonder if it would sell in enough numbers to make it worthwhile for Subaru to market? Disn't they drop the 2-door from the new Impreza line because of what they felt were poor sales?

That's the one to own right there. Anyone with some money could do it. Just have a body shop put coup RS doors on a RS Wagon, with a little space to make up for of course. Seeing what crazy things people have done to their cars, I could see it happening pretty easily. I just took a good close look at the UK two door....

it's just a 4 door with the rear doors welded shut and covered over...

the giveaway is that the front doors are too small....it's SUPPER cool though...

There's hope for me yet....

Yeah, now that I look at it it seems like that...too bad...damn....had my hopes up that it would be possible for me sometime...well, i guess it could still happen...but then, the two door that was photochopped still had a window at the back about the same shape as the rear door window...maybe thats what he did...probably not, but i got to try to keep the dream alive
