Basically, my passengers side floor id wet, from front of front seat capet, to the rear seat carpet.....I noticed it yesterday with a nasty mildew smell at the autocrosses, then it dried out during the day, no more moisture, then today on my way to work, out of curiosity I reach over to feel if its wet, and it is, it rained all last night. What should I check, heater core, windshield trim, fire wall holes, what? IM lost and frustrated...please help me....

my guess is that it's probably coming in a seal through the door, window - something like that...
my VW did that... water was leaking in the window seals on the door and windshield.. in and down..
check all that!
start w/the firewall.. check doors and window seals...
is it under warranty?
have the dealer check it too!!

Not sure if the Imprezas have their a/c drain tube in the passenger footwell, but that may be clogged, causing the water to drip into the car instead of out of it.

I agree with RidinLow
Do you use the AC often?
If so... that should be the culprit.

I realized my firewall hole wasn't plugged tight enough (switch wire for the hella's is too big) and my feet got soaked yesterday while going through a huge puddle on a dirt road.
Oh well.
