I wont say what company made the " Carbon Fiber " , but when I got the idea for making the prototype for my car, a 12x12 sheet of black carbon fiber cost me $68.00 dollars.

And my battery covers are all cut using a " Water Jet ", not a Dremmel, or Drill bit. And the carbon fiber comes in 5 different colors. If that, coupled with the fact that this is a totally original part, isn't worth $45.00 I'm not sure what is. You could always go and spend $200+ for a carbon fiber battery! ;)
