Could you tell me more about this? I am not familiar with camber bolts on Imprezas at all and don't recall reading anything about this here.

If I were you, I would go ask a few of those muffler/suspension shops (i.e. Midas, Monroe Muffler, PepBoys). When I didn't know anything about cars, I had to have coil springs installed on my Accord, and it cost me $80 for the front suspensions at Midas. Spring coil installation requires taking apart the struts, so it's the same labor / procedure.

What about bleeding the brakes? How tough is that?

It's a snap if you have 1 more person. It takes about 45 minutes to bleed all 4 corners.

I just payed my moonliting Subaru mech. $200 for version 5 springs and struts.Id a done it myself but i was pressed for time and $200 didnt sound like a bad price.That price did not include alignment.That im workin out with my dealer under warranty lol.

I just purchased some new tires not too long ago. The tire size is a little bigger than my previous tires so now my rear tires rub in the wheel well while turning or going over dips. Instead of purchasing another tire size, I chose to just get OEM springs and shocks/struts and remove my WRX SH RA springs and shocks/struts. I chose to get a set of used 2.5RS springs and shocks/struts to be put on all the way around.

Here's the problem: The Subaru dealership I asked to install them wants to charge me $420.00 for labor. Is this around the typical price of springs and shock/struts installation? How much did it cost you to have your springs and shocks/struts changed? Just out of curiosity I once asked at the local Big O tires when I was getting new tires mounted... They wanted around $400 as well. It's not that it's a hard job to do, just a bit time consuming. Take a Saturday afternoon and you'll get it done... More hands and power/air tools make things exponentially easier! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

rallispec charged me something like $375 to install a set of coilovers. that included corner weighting and alignment, too.
