Drawing on our 35 years of racing knowledge, the Crawford Closed Loop Air/Oil Separator was engineered and designed to keep all the oil where it belongs, inside the motor.

The Air/Oil Separator solves a simple problem from the manufacturer; it transfers the oil back into the engine via the block not the intake. This not only keeps the vehicle within specs of smog but keeps the oil from coating the tops of the pistons. We all know what that does to any tune you have; it causes detonation, a very bad thing for turbo engines.

So if you want to keep your engine running consistently and strong for years to come make sure you install a race and street proven product from leaders in the industry. Crawford Performance - RESULTS NOT RUMORS

FAQ's:
1. The A/O sep only uses one hose to connect to the intake hose before then turbo. Does the turbo hose draw enough vacuum to make the A/O sep work properly? Does it matter that there is or is not enough vacuum?

- Our AOS does not need a vacuum source to function properly. If you connect the top line into the intake before the turbo, the resulting vacuum will help the rings to seal better but will have no actual effect on the AOS itself. The vacuum supplied by the intake tube is available 100% of the time as opposed to the vacuum supplied during off throttle situations within the intake manifold.

2. How does the A/O separate the air and oil?

- Our AOS uses the time tested and proven “round swirl pot” technology as well as internal baffling to separate air from the oil. This is the industry standard when it comes to air / liquid separators. Our AOS system was engineered and tested on our multiple record setting Crawford Performance Time Attack STI.

3. How much pressure will the valve covers reach when pushing oil out?

- There’s a minimal amount of pressure in the valve covers or the crankcase while using a proper ventilating system. The oil that’s pushed out the valve covers happens during high G loads associated with cornering.

4. The blow by that comes out the heads, that will drain back into the crank case. Will this cause the oil to get contaminated? Isn’t that bad?

- If the oil coming out of the motor is clean then the oil returning to the motor from the AOS will be clean as well, the AOS does not add anything into the oil system. That being said, if there’s a contaminate in the oil that’s coming out of the motor then it will drain right back into the motor.

The ixizAOSep is compact and full of advance channeling (no media to replace nor deteriorate) to separate air from oil coming from both your crankcase and heads. The drain port will return the oil back to your engine so that you do not loose any oil.

If you are running high boost you will most likely expose your intake system with oil vapor. This will most likely occur under hard driving. This is due to more compressed air bypassing the rings. This is one reason why there is significant amount of oil loss in between race and oil changes

IxizAOSep prevents the oil from getting ingested by your turbo and into your intake, which will greatly reduce the efficiency of your engine (reduce octane, engine knock, timing retard,..).

The system requires no drilling and can easily bolt on to both TMIC and FMIC vehicles. The compact unit can be placed in various locations (depending on your engine setup).

HKS USA has released a Full Turbo Kit, Front Mount Intercooler, and Racing Suction Intake for the 2008+ Subaru STi. The Full Turbo kit includes the following: GT3037S turbo with a 0.87 A/R, GT II 50mm wastegate, uppipe, downpipe, bypass pipe, champer Pipe, suction Pipe, water lines, oil lines, and supporting parts. The FMIC kit comes with a large 23.5x10x4 inch core and all piping needed for installation. The major downfall to the FMIC is it requires the use of a smaller battery and is flanged for a universal HKS BOV not the stock BOV.

The DBA 5000 series is a direct replacement two-piece disc brake rotor, designed for drivers seeking performance braking. The DBA 5000 series disc rotors consists of two main components: the aluminum center hat and the cast iron disc rotor. These two components are bolted together with NAS (National Aerospace Standard) bolts and lock nuts, hence the term 'two-piece' rotor. The main advantage of a two-piece rotor (with aluminum hat), is the ability to allow the cast-iron disc rotor to expand and contract uniformly as the temperature rises and falls during brake application. The Stance GR+ 3-Way is our top of the line coilover. The GR+ 3-Way features 3-way adjustability, enabling the driver to fine tune low-speed and high-speed bump separately from rebound. An external reservoir is connected to the damper using specially designed fittings that allow the line to swivel and disconnect for packaging and servicing convenience. An optional tool is also available to adjust the gas pressure to give the driver the ultimate adjustment control.

General Tech data on these coilovers for your Subaru the shock body is 53mm in diameter with a 47mm shock piston. All Stance coilovers are monotube for better damping control and anti-fatigue
characteristics. For the Subaru Impreza application, being MacPherson on all four corners, they are inverted which gives the shocks better heat dissipation for high severity conditions, like at the track. Another benefit the Impreza applications have is that all four corners come with camber plates for increased camber adjustment. This is a very simple concept, but is something that is overlooked by most other coilover manufacturers. The standard spring rates are 8K/6K on the GR+/GR+ Pro,
but for those looking for a stiffer spring rate to take advantage of R-Compound tires can get the SS-D which is valved for 11K/9K. We can also have custom valved coilovers made for custom spring rates.

BC Racings Inverted RAM model includes all of the great BR features and then takes it a notch higher. By using an inverted coilover setup we move the vital damper fluid away from detrimental heat sources to avoid overheating the fluid and causing damper fatigue under extreme conditions. Thanks Tray. I have a JDM twinscroll turbo in my car now that is leaking (maybe just seals but could be blown) so I am weighing my options for a replacement. A rotated setup would mean replacing my already upgraded intake/exhaust/FMIC and I'm trying not to break the bank so I'd rather go the less expensive route with a stock location gt3076r. I believe the AMS/Crawford/Perrin packages get over $3500 which is way more than I want to spend right now and was hoping to keep things under $2000 for everything if possible.

Drawing on our 35 years of racing knowledge, the Crawford Closed Loop Air/Oil Separator was engineered and designed to keep all the oil where it belongs, inside the motor.

The Air/Oil Separator solves a simple problem from the manufacturer; it transfers the oil back into the engine via the block not the intake. This not only keeps the vehicle within specs of smog but keeps the oil from coating the tops of the pistons. We all know what that does to any tune you have; it causes detonation, a very bad thing for turbo engines.

So if you want to keep your engine running consistently and strong for years to come make sure you install a race and street proven product from leaders in the industry. Crawford Performance - RESULTS NOT RUMORS

FAQ's:
1. The A/O sep only uses one hose to connect to the intake hose before then turbo. Does the turbo hose draw enough vacuum to make the A/O sep work properly? Does it matter that there is or is not enough vacuum?

- Our AOS does not need a vacuum source to function properly. If you connect the top line into the intake before the turbo, the resulting vacuum will help the rings to seal better but will have no actual effect on the AOS itself. The vacuum supplied by the intake tube is available 100% of the time as opposed to the vacuum supplied during off throttle situations within the intake manifold.

2. How does the A/O separate the air and oil?

- Our AOS uses the time tested and proven “round swirl pot” technology as well as internal baffling to separate air from the oil. This is the industry standard when it comes to air / liquid separators. Our AOS system was engineered and tested on our multiple record setting Crawford Performance Time Attack STI.

3. How much pressure will the valve covers reach when pushing oil out?

- There’s a minimal amount of pressure in the valve covers or the crankcase while using a proper ventilating system. The oil that’s pushed out the valve covers happens during high G loads associated with cornering.

4. The blow by that comes out the heads, that will drain back into the crank case. Will this cause the oil to get contaminated? Isn’t that bad?

- If the oil coming out of the motor is clean then the oil returning to the motor from the AOS will be clean as well, the AOS does not add anything into the oil system. That being said, if there’s a contaminate in the oil that’s coming out of the motor then it will drain right back into the motor.

The ixizAOSep is compact and full of advance channeling (no media to replace nor deteriorate) to separate air from oil coming from both your crankcase and heads. The drain port will return the oil back to your engine so that you do not loose any oil.

If you are running high boost you will most likely expose your intake system with oil vapor. This will most likely occur under hard driving. This is due to more compressed air bypassing the rings. This is one reason why there is significant amount of oil loss in between race and oil changes

IxizAOSep prevents the oil from getting ingested by your turbo and into your intake, which will greatly reduce the efficiency of your engine (reduce octane, engine knock, timing retard,..).

The system requires no drilling and can easily bolt on to both TMIC and FMIC vehicles. The compact unit can be placed in various locations (depending on your engine setup).
