hey guys i have a 2002 wrx. and i recently opened the compartment under the steering wheel and see where to conect my guages. i ended up not putting them on, just testing to see where they would fit. and for soe reason, i went back outside when i finished putting everything back together
my e-brake light was up NOT in the cluster so i guess its my
PARKING lights <<sorry, if i said e-brake light.
i dont know which lines it was but can anyone help me out? i know its not my brake lights i checked and yeah. can someone help me out? i disconnected my battery so the light wouldnt drain it out.

4 threads down from yours....
read through it, it tells you the main causes of it
basically either low brake fluid
a loose ebrake cable
or your alt is going bad

Are you sure it is the brake lights that are on? Check the virgin switch on top of the steering column. See if it is on.
Edit: I see you made the correction about the lights. The switch got another one.

the column where your steering wheel is
look on the top of it, right in front of your gauge cluster
there is a switch
flip it the other way
