Alright ladies and gentlemen i have found out how to disconnect the DRL's on the 07's! ive been searching for a long time and i figured it out heres how.............

In the first image you will notice a little silver box on the back side of a black bracket. This little box is in the upper left hand corner of your engine bay right next to where your strut connects...you might have to remove your factory airbox to see this....i have an aftermarket intake so mine is not there. You will notice a gray plug with two wires running into it. One wire is black and the other is yellow with a red stripe.

All you have to do is unplug this connection and bye bye DRL's!!!!!

Nice writeup man. Just curious, why are you disconnecting the DRL's?

I did mine for work reasons but without them you can run the city lights on their own and it looks fantastic. I also taped down the loose wire/plug from the DRL box, and taped up the plugs to keep dirt/debris out.

I did that about 2 years ago :) HOWEVER, I've heard that it's not the 'proper way' to do it (lets voltage float high somewhere or sometihng) that said, I've had no issues.

Yea i did it cause im running HIDs and if i dident turn my light switch on and dropped the ebrake my HIDs would fliker and freak out. I havent had any problems so far though.

2) No use making the projector bulb lifespan any shorter, especially for those of us with real HID's, the replacement bulbs are not cheap.
