Sorry about not loading any of those drawings that i did, my laptop crashed and its been a while trying to get it fixed so now its replaced. I'll be loading them soon if anyone was wondering. I can also make concept pics for anyone wondering what thier Baja would look like with a new bumper or something else. All i ask is knowledge in return.

Other up dates, My home made bed cover project fell through(lack of funds, had a baby) and same with my other mods. I do have a plan to rewire my baja this summer if I can find the diagram.

I have also stopped street racing, like I said I would.

Just the speakers, sorry wasn't specific. I just upgraded my speakers and was thinking of upgrading the wire so i can get the top perfomance out of them. I might also prewire for an amp and sub.

Running wiring for an amp/sub I can understand. I've ran the following:

Power/Grnd/Remote and RCA wire to the back for my custom sub box that fits through the switchback and into the bed (the bed is covered)
CB antennae wire to the back
Power/Grnd/Remote, 4 RCAs and 8 speaker wires for cabin speakers to an amp under the driver seat.
There's a nice relatively easy access wiring channel that runs along the driver side under the carpeting - I used this for my rear amp/sub. The wiring I put in for the in-cabin speakers/amp I just ran under the carpet this last winter since I already had my seats and carpet out for a dynamat install on the flooring.

You might want to think about whether or not it will be worth your trouble to run all new speaker wire. I don't know where it is but somewhere I think here on nasioc there is a guide that tells you what kind of power the factory wiring can handle before it bottlenecks.

I'm running Infinity speakers mated to an Alpine amp that puts out 70w RMS @ 2 ohms per channel. I ran speaker wiring from under the seat back up to where the head unit is and connected them up to the factory wires there. If I remember correctly, the factory wiring is only suitable up to 90w RMS, but don't quote me on that.

NOTE: If you're still running your factory headunit, there's definitly no point in running new wire for your door speakers. If you want more performance from your speakers you've got to find something capable of driving them better.

Im using a Xplod headunit that was top of the line 3 years ago(cost almost 300), but its being replaced for what I dont know. I saw this internal Ipod docking headunit at bestbuy, but i know nothing about the brand. My speakers are 4way Xplods 270 watt. They're a little fuzzy so I wanted to try the wiring thing.

Out of topic question, does anyone know if the forester spoiler is the right size and shape for the back of our baja cabs? I really want a spoiler on my baja!
