Looking forward to competing at the new site!!!
piknockout 04-08-2009, 04:25 PM I guess I should go ahead and sign up now, no real reason to wait too long. But I do need to find a place to stay, I'll probably be lazy and wait until the last minute when I know beyond a doubt that I'll be there. Thanks for the heads up Chike! :D

I'm pretty sure almost every hotel room is already booked for that time period. You may want to try to get something reserved as a fall back. IDK if the SCCA still has that block reservation going or not. It was over on the actual sccaforums. http://www.sccabb.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7385&PN=1
As much as I don't want to register this early I guess I will. Talk about padding your bank account.
+1 thanks Chike
piknockout 04-08-2009, 04:47 PM I'm not expecting to get a reservation per se, but going to try and shack up with someone who was responsible enough to reserve a room and needs someone to help bring the costs down. Or worst case, sleep in my car in the paddock. :D
Storm 04-08-2009, 05:46 PM My codriver reserved our room when they announced the location! Don't know when we'll register....but I won't be waiting until august. (yes I will, I just don't want to)

JamesWilson2 04-08-2009, 06:46 PM My brother-in-law just moved this week, 20 min. from the event site (from Phoenix, AZ to NE) and has a furnished basement for me :)
alltracin 04-08-2009, 06:49 PM "you"....or every broke bitch on nasioc? Haha how's $20/night?
S1MPSONS 04-08-2009, 07:23 PM Will they allow camping this year at new site?

wrx2.0 555 04-08-2009, 07:52 PM Lincoln is NOT like Topeka. There should be no hotel issues considering our measly 1100 racers.
They're accustomed to much larger sporting events and should have plenty of room.
piknockout 04-08-2009, 09:01 PM From my understanding, camping will be allowed on site for Nationals. But camping will not be allowed for the Pro and Tour being held at Lincoln.

I sure hope you're right. Shawn, Katie and I haven't made our reservations yet. :p

Ha ha. Talking to my co-driver this past weekend, he did the same. So we definitely have a place to stay in Lincoln, NE.

I was just baseing it off of the fact that the 5th&12th are home games. Same weekends as the finale and Nats and I didn't quite know what to expect.
I know the costs were crazy.
Vikingmoose 04-13-2009, 09:41 PM Registered in STU. :)
Like others I reserved a hotel room when they announced the dates. Staying at NER HQ (Days Inn).
