This car is not US street legal.

^^^Good point, but who cares? And i mean that as respectfully (is that a word?) as possible.

You are not the seller or buyer. Anyone who would purchase a JDM GT-R has to understand that there is a TON of risk and potential problems involved in this purchase.
Let the involved parties worry about it.

Bump for a nice car FS. I'm on the market but it's already too modified for me. Looking for something slightly more stock.

yes sir brad has many he can get i would send him a quick email.

egy5, although im sure everyone "appreciates" your posts. you just said yourself you can drive it in fl and GA...and your going around telling everyone you cant. there is nothing that anyone is pulling here, everything is explained to buyer before sale. feel free to contact brad, but there is no reason needed to defame my for sale threads. thank you and good day :)

1) I did contact Brad, and I found out exactly what is going on.

2) I never said you can't drive it, I said its not federal legal. You can drive the car all you want as long as you are aware that the Feds can break down your door and crush 60k of your money without telling you. Its happened to people I know.

3) I only posted this in threads where you said the cars are US Street Legal. If you don't say they are US Street legal, then there isn't a problem at all.

4) This is not a risk with JDM cars. Any car that has already been imported (aka supra) can have a RHD imported as long as the RI makes it OBDII compliant. Only the R33 Skylines are legal to import and own from the Skyline models, hence any R32 and R34 you see on sale will say things like "state legal" or "kit car." Anyone who looks that up will find the associated risks.

5) I have a problem here because you are telling people these are US Street legal cars when they are not. Prove me wrong, and I'll gladly apologize and edit all my posts. I have more than enough documentation to prove my point.

6) I'm not trying to be a dick. ImportImage IS a quality vendor, which is why I went through the trouble of contacting Brad before I did this. But this is straight up false advertising.

I gave you and your boy Brad the benefit of the doubt at every step along the way. As it turns out, he are just another hackjob like Drift Tuners.

This little operation here is basically a half step up from a chop shop.

I had this really long elaborate post detailing every piece of communication and research I did in order to confirm how bogus this **** is. But I decided not to post this since you still have a reputation on here and I'm not trying to mess up your business, even though at this point I'm not sure why I'd trust you.

But I'm reporting all your threads to the mods of this forum. Get this **** deleted and out of here. I'll give the moderators a complete list of the RI's I called, brokers I emailed, and updated stats on the confiscated skylines if I have to.

Get this crap out of NASIOC. Scam for fish somewhere else.

Unfortunately, I do not

Brad certainly didn't bother responding to my questions on federal legality and or method of importation (if he even plans on trying to import them to the US first) but considering he has none, I'd love to hear what he tells "customers"

At any point if you want to send me any sort of proof that any of these skylines are even in the US or went through a US port, I'll give you a little credit.

Till then, you are just the next Jeremy Boddy / Drift Tuners to me.

RIP any skylines that get crushed at port b/c of Brad. :sadbanana:

i can agree that when paying for any car, especially if it isn't purchased directly off the lot, it's all about paperwork, paperwork, paperwork in terms of whether the car is legal or not. that way your car is protected from impound. believe me, the Fed gov will not hesitate to impound your car. nice cars nonetheless and hopefully i will be able to get my hands on one. =)

wow, burned.

no response back yet either? kinda proves this guy might be right. To me, the pics are obvious its not in the US. look at the ones that show a train in the background. Tho, they can just say the pics were taken before importing them, EGY5 has yet to see the proof the car is even here.

These cares are obviously not in the United States. The closest they will be is Canada, unless "Brad" manages to hack the skylines apart so badly that they will go thru a port before being grossly reassembled (which is also grossly illegal). But most likely he would just drive them across the border illegally and get you a FL state title and sell it to you as a "legal" car, which it is not. State Title != Legal.

Canada only has a 15 year importation rule on cars that won't meet their standards, so anything made before 1994 can be freely bought and legally imported to Canada. What model Skyline would that be? R32's!!! Shocker! All of "Brad's" Skylines are R32s!

And no I didn't get a response back. But I'm also not holding my breath. I called both RI's in Florida, neither had heard of him, which means hes not a registered importer.

He's not a registered importer + the federal government says the only skyline you can import is an R33 + JK Technologies is the only registered importer known to be able to make FMVSS required changes on R33's = brad is full of ****, which is not a surprise. There are a ton of these hack jobs running around, and they all seem to be centered in FL or GA.

Again, I'm not against the sale of Skylines. Anyone who has been serious about buying one has always toyed with the idea of just getting one and keeping on the DL. And I've got no problem with people that do do that. But there are tons of horror stories of people just like "Brad" that try and hook someone up with a skyline, but when it gets impounded by the feds upon crossing the border or at port or anything he just runs away with your money. The fact that he says these are legal just shows he's either retarded or trying to scam people.

So just stay away from these, and stay away from "Brad". He is going to scam someone out of their money. Just don't let it be you.

Just my $.02,

If you want a right hand drive car that bad skip the chance of impounding 40K+ of your funds get a USDM car and get it converted.
A converted car is if done properly 100% legal as the only thing done to it would be the conversion still a USDM car. Correct me if I am wrong of course.

Tis my plans anywhoo. But nice Skylines none theless as one day ... i may have one ;o

This goes for not only Kaizo but every other method and car, even the grandfathered Motorex cars are being inspected at RB motoring and all over. Those of you that have shipped in the past, hide it. Those of you thinking or trying to ship, don't. This **** storm is ranging from not only the sources of bringing them in but also various forums. I'd recommend people to not disclose any information regarding their vehicle or themselves, for those who have shipped before. For those who have registered their stuff in the U.S. using the JDM vins... good luck, if you havn't then I wouldn't attempt it at the moment."

"The man who owns the company "Kaizo" is Daryl, this stuff is not like the little he said she said petty **** from previous years and months. Cars at Kaizo have been seized this week as well as inventory computers, RB Motoring was paid a visit as well. Next step will be the DMV's to track the Kaizo VIN's as well as JDM VIN's for cars that didn't go through Motorex or Kaizo which is why I'm hoping to warn people ahead of time.

Put it this way, when Sean Morris starts getting phone calls about it then it's no joke, and this is that time. "

When Sean Morris (aka Tyndago/RBmotoring/Motorex) says,
"I had a call earlier today that ICE , DOT, and CARB had been at RB today doing some investigating. The investigators looked at a couple of the ex-Motorex cars, called the DOT and ended up leaving from RB. I called over to Kaizo to see what was happening over there, and I was informed that they were in the middle of it...Three cars got seized, along with records, and computers. Included in the three cars seized was the actual hero car from Fast and Furious 4. We will have to see how this plays out over the coming weeks and months."
