Guys

Im very pleased to release my new "V2" Vmount "Time Attack" cooling system into the US market.

This system uses the very latest in radiator core technology. The unique feature with the radiator is that it is designed to mounted at an angle and is extremely efficient in this Vmount configuration.

Combining a massive bar & plate intercooler and the largest radiator that can possibly fit and THE best thermo fans available from SPAL engineering makes for the ultimate track cooling system.

Pics shows complete kit fitted.

pic shows unique 30 degree "stepped" radiator core. Note the angle of the tubes. Even though the radiator is mounted at a 30 degree angle the ambient airflow still passes through parrellel to the ground for maximum efficiency.

Anti-surge tank/fuel pump upgrade for the WRX/STi
A solution for a bolt in fuel delivery system for the WRX is long over due. There were currently only the following options available.

1.upgrade the intank fuel pump to a high capacity unit but this doesn’t address the surging issue under hard acceleration or hard cornering when the tank is low on fuel.

2. Install an anti-surge/fuel pump system in the trunk of the car which will work fine but this takes up storage space, makes the interior of the car smell of fuel and the fuel pump noise will drive you mad.

3. install a totally new baffled fuel tank. Expensive and very big job to fit.

The Process West system address all of these issues as the unit is mounted on the outside of the car and simply bolts into place then plug in the fuel lines. The system is connected into the factory fuel system at the factory fuel pump connection plate.

The kit comes with a 700hp rated Bosch Motorsports “044” pump. There are no cutting of any factory fuel lines and the car can be reverted back to stock very easily. Tank capacity is 3.5litres.

Below pic shows the fuel fittings that make the system a true “plug-and-play” unit.

Below pic shows the pickup tube that runs inside the surge tank towards the rear of the car. The fuel pump does attach to the front of the tank but the fuel pickup is still at the optimum point towards to rear of the car.

Some people may not like the location of the unit mounted near the rear of the car but if you want a reliable fuel delivery system that is not in the trunk there is no other choice. As far as external mounting positions for a system like this there are really no options under the car…it is extremely tight.

Cost on the complete kit with pump is $810US delivered.
I can also confirm that this unit will fit the GC shape WRX, so all WRX/STi from 97-07 are covered with this one unit.

Kevin,

I have no words to express the awesome presented here. I'm NO FAN of a V-mount, but your kit is now the one exception. Like your TMIC kit, this thing has be planned and planned well mate.

This and all of your products look amazing. What "horsepower" or CFM are each of your intercoolers rated for? Most interested in the tmic

I have the V1 Vmount kit from PW and installation isnt as hard as it seems. Just take your time with it. The quality and Service is next to nothing in my opinion. Either way its great to see more pw stuff.

Thanks ron

My V2 Vmount was tested on a 650hp (engine) 06Sti race car in Thailand in 40 degree C heat (104F) enduring 30 minute+ races and intercooler/engine coolant temps were the best they have seen.

Measuring "CFM" capability of an intercooler is not an accurate measurement of efficiency/hp capability.

My intercooler core supplier can produce me an intercooler core that will show massive CFM but can still be very in-efficient in reducing outlet temps.
This intercooler configuration will have a very sparce fin arrangement and flow good but have poor outlet temps.

When I purchase intercooler core I specify the fin configuration of the core to best suit the application.

An intercooler core needs to be the correct balance between flow capability and low outlet temps. When I purchase intercooler core the costing is determined by the weight of the core...if I choose a sparce fin configuration (ie: ebay cheap cores) the cost (and efficiency) will be low.

My intercoolers mostly have a dense fin configuration for very low and consistent outlet temps.

I am SOOOOOOO damn happy to see a PW V-Mount kit back on the market! A while ago I called and asked about your kits, and had sadly been told that they are no longer available for purchase. I was NOT told that you guys had another kit in the making!

I gotta start saving my pennies back up and grab one of these kits for sure! You guys do such AWESOME work and it shows in the final product. Thanks Process West!! :)

Peace-
Tod:cool:
