I have been trying to find a place to place my 52mm boost gauge/controller. Since I only have one gauge (and dont feel like buying 2 more for the dash gauge pod) i'm looking for creative locations (don't even go there..i know what you are thinking !)

My question for anyone; I have seen pictures where people have hogged out the left air vent and put gauges in there. I can't help but think that the AC or full heat would be bad for the electronics in the gauge.

Does anyone have experince with doing this and if the gauges hold out?

why not on the steering column?

just put a piece of foam in behind the gauge, and it will solve your worries.

(cold air or warm air from the hvac wont bother gauges at all anyway)

Why not get the Subiegal pod? http://www.subiegal.com/forsale/subiegalgaugepods.html

man i wish i had that subiegal pod instead of my janky ass column pod the previous owner rigged up... i dont like how it gets in the way of the water temp gauge... and i dont know how the summer gets where you live, but living on AZ there is no way i would even consider taking out one of precious a/c vents!!! so i would say go subiegal pod!!!
