I need more power, my friend has just added 50+ hp to his RX-7 (~240hp). When he had 185 hp we were evenly matched, now he plain whups me. I want to here your opinions on what mods work for the MY99 RS. should I do a catback? do they make good difference? I figure an intake may be a bad idea still (MAF) . Anyways just looking for a few more hp. I would prefer comments if you have experience with the mods for this model year thanks - Arne ( and yes I have searched and read posts but I want MY99 opinions)

fist get a
New air intake
cartboy short shifter
Lightend fly wheel
and a racing underdrivepully

Intake, exhaust, and u/d pulley will give you some extra power. But you will also need a fuel computer if you go with a complete intake (replace throttle body back). Add a set of Cobb cams and some headers and you should be doing pretty good. Not as fast as a RX 7 but more fun than a stock RS. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif Any ?'s e-mail me.
