I want to gauge interest on converting the AKDSM.com domain into Alaska Performance Enthusiast's. If we gather enough support (like if you scooby's become regular posters like you are here) we could actually build a sweet site (with media) and get sponsership.

We are even willing to give you your own technical section on the board (Scooby Tech) since it was one of the more popular cars in the state.

So what is your interest in it? We might even want to turn it into a full blown car club.

That sounds good to me but the name seems too long and not as catchy. Need to pool some ideas on some name thats more friendly but not boring. :cool:

Doesn't sound to bad to me, although I too think it needs a "catchier" name, like the "AKperfomance" or "AK p-club" or "a-club" or....Ooooohhh how bout the A-team :lol: :lol: :rolleyes:

But yeah, when you said PE, I thought of gym class. :rolleyes: Although maybe per would be better.

I could care less if the "ricers" were on the forum. They might get flamed, edited, banned, etc. but atleast they would be interesting. Hell, we could keep a few around for some laughs.

As far as makes, no limit. In fact, we would setup the board to corrispond to the amount of makes there are. Since this is a merger between I-club and AKDSM, We would have a Tech Section for just Scooby's and a Tech Section for just DSM's. But all other forums would be general.

Any other ideas? Throw some names out there. You bitch about, so come up with another name.... ;) ;)

I'll moderate!! :D I've got a couple of friends that would like to have a good club and a good forum for trucks-- it sounds like you know what you're doing... :D Excellent plan though, you got my vote if it involves trucks, otherwise the vote doesn't really count.. :lol:

I'd show up for a meeting.... I had an excellent name this morning, it fit perfectly and made a ton of sense and sounded cool and everything.. but... I forgot... on the way to work.. so uhm... maybe i'll remember :lol:

I say model it after this site. This site is easy to read and use. I am not saying this because I am used to it but it really is easy to use compared to other boards. The colors are just right and the spacing between categories and choices aren't confusing. Have the categories as in Honda/Acura, Subies, DSM, Trucks, Suv, Lowridahs, Etc. I can help on some ideas to allow everyone access to this. Just need the knowledge to put it together. :cool:
