Ok so iv been looking at my 04 wrx sitting in my driveway with a blown motor for the past six months or so and i finally got enough money to buy a complete sti swap. I got it all complete drive train 6spd and motor. As of right now i bought a hydra ems system and i have a full exhaust perrin downpipe to maddad cat back and a short ram intake. The motor i bought didnt come with a top mount so im just going to spend the extra money and get a front mount any suggestions on brand would be great my car has alot of perrin stuff on it struts ext so i kinda wanna get a perrin one if they make a good one. But anyway the motor is obviusly already out of the car so i was wondering if i should put some forged pistons in while its already out. As of right now it has a stock vf34 turbo and i want to go bigger after the cars done and i save up some more money. This car is going to be a dd and i can see myself making it maybe a 400whp car in the near future. I drove my friends sti putting out about 350 and theres no need for more power but i figured why not.
