I've got a MY00 RS 4EAT. If I wanted a J-Spec WRX engine in there, what needs to be done to make it possible (besides the money)?

From what I understand, you'll need the lower cross-member, wiring harness (which you'll need to figure out and splice in to the existing wiring), and probably the transmission that goes with that engine, although I don't know about that since you have the auto. Might be able to handle the power, but I don't know for sure. Also, the exhaust will need to be modified. Not easy or cheap, but it would be cool http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

The fact that you have an automatic tranny is a definate boon. You don't have to screw around with a turbo clutch, or any of those other tranny upgrades that are needed to deal with the new hp/strain. I have a Auto and want to do the same, but I'm leaning towards the Cobb's stage 3 performance package.
