So here is my problem. I recently removed my doors from my 2005 sti and i removed them with the windows UP. And now that i have them off and i have the wiring all apart i need to put them down for storage and shipping (bought carbon fiber doors, with windows already inside). I was wondering if there was some way to jump the wires and lower the window???

The wiring in my sti is all apart to get rid of some un needed wires, (removed ac/ abs/ airbags/ rear window wiring) building a race car. just wanted to add that so people dont say hook it back up.

You could either apply power to the switch contacts or tie directly to the motor, but if you do go direct make sure the jumper wires don't get in the way of the window as it moves.

I just jumped the wires 1 by one and it worked. I was nervous of blowing something but a subaru tech told me dont worry there is no fuses or relays inside the door just in the body wiring.
