Hey,
Finally figured out the shift lock release. You have to disassemble the steering columb and by that i mean remove the wiper and light switches and all the wiring. You will see the little box sticking out of the side (towards the steering wheel) of the ignition. Get on your back and look up on the bottom of the box, you will see a little spring with a notch. Simply move the notch over and waallllaaaa! your key is free.
