Subtle Solutions - Chimney Duct w/ Turbo Heat Shield was designed to fit the Subaru Impreza (2002 - 2007) WRX & STI. While utilizing the stock intercooler mounting bracket and hole(s), this 304 Stainless Steel product helps eliminate heat soak on your intercooler by providing an outlet aka "chimney" for hot air to escape through your factory or aftermarket hoodscoop splitter vents. While driving, this product allows cooler air to travel through the chimney and push warmer air out of the engine bay and down towards the ground. It appears that there are two style radiator shrouds, one with a bend on the right hand side up to the cap and one without. Or am I crazy?

I'll help answer this question for JNA. Although they will probably get to this Post later tonight...

Subtle has (3) Radiator Shrouds available:

1. (02-07) Impreza (all models)

2. (08-09) Impreza (all models)

3. (03-08) Forester (all modesl)

They all come in 2 different finishes: Brushed Stainless or Powder Coated Black.

The red STI is a 08/09 which has the bump over the shroud. The car next to it is 06/07

Our current 02-07 radiator shroud does not include the angled cover over the rad. cap area.

Only the 08-09 Impreza rad. shroud has this design detail.

As of right now, we do not have plans to produce a 2nd version of this product.

GF8 is the wagon, mines JDM (EJ20K). Got a few friends with 01 STi's that I can take a look at to see if anything will work.
