$4000 dollars! Tires were included, but that's still a rip off... I hope no-one pays that much for them. I think you can get the wheels on subaruparts for $2400 a set +S&H. Or, you can just buy aftermarket BBS rims from someone else without subaru's markup for under $2000 a set...

Please, no one should fall for that!

Yeah thats quite a markup! I have seen at least one WRX with the wheel tire combo, oh well I guess If you have the moneyhttp://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

Local dealer here has them for $3000 but you can get them cheaper.

Where can we get that EXACT same BBS 17 X 7.5 with the correct offset wheel for less. I thought that was a extremely hard find.

Exact same I am not sure, but there seems to be a set of BBS from Subaru that are cheaper than the $4000 ones. Haven't seen them yet, but they should be around.

Actually, the BBS's are 17x7 with a 53 offset. They are AFAIHH custom made for Subaru Impreza. They are light and strong.

I would love to have those BBS wheels but even at $2300 dealer cost is too high. There's plenty of other brands that will fit but I sure like OEM stuff.

$4000 is way too much. I actually got the 17" bbs wheels, but my dealer didn't charge me anywhere near that much. I wouldn't have gotten them, but they let me keep the 16" stock wheels as well. The bbs wheels are very cool, but you should take a look at the aftermarket.

I seem to remember someone saying that Subaruparts charges 20% over cost for them...so figure they have to pay $1800?

Dealer WRX "performance" parts are a rip off!! the dealer here sell those wheels for $4000 also...the STi exhaust is $895 .... and they wont install it!!

The BBS wheels sold by SUbaru are forged. If you are seeing some BBS wheels hugely cheaper elsewhere they are not the same.

That said, you don't need to spend $3k on wheels.

Well the Suspension kit is pretty good, especially the www.subaruparts.com (http://www.subaruparts.com) price...

inchoate, they dealer didn't do you any favor by "letting" you keep your 16" wheels; you are entitled to keep the oe wheels, they have nothing to do with the purchase of the BBS rims.

you think 4000 is bad try 4800, thats what a local dealer is charging for them.

Why are people buying these BBS wheels??? What is so great about them that you would buy them over some Prodrive wheels at $300 a piece vs. $3000 a set. I just don't get it http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/redface.gif

Cause they are dead sexy and I haven't seen too many rims that look like them. I wouldn't spend 3k on them either. 2k with tires would be pushing it for me. A local dealer has 2 sedan 5 speeds with these on them. They got the cars for a dealership that was going out of business in Denver. I like the way the car handles on the 17"s. They are dead sexy... wonder how they'd look in bronze or gold????? Hmmmmmmm

They are actually 17X7JJ, +55mm offset, and interestingly enough: made in Japan.

mine weighed 15.5 lbs/per.

I love my BBS wheels. I don't care what anybody says. I think my car looks PHAT,SMOKIN, etc. I paid $2800 and I think it was worth it. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/cool.gif

I think the price subaruparts.com has is fair, since this BBS wheel is expensive anywhere you look. I wouldn't spend that much personally, but I just hope people look around before paying almost twice as much at a dealer. They do look sweet, but you can buy two sets of nice wheels and tires with that money... everyone wants to have a set of tires for each road condition, right http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

Check out the BBS wheel prices at this website... Much under $2000. I think the RX wheel is the one Subaru uses? (Maybe not, but it's similar) Maybe it is more expensive if the offset Subaru uses is only sold to Subaru.

The RX looks the same but is not forged, therefore heavier.

If you price the same wheels that Subaru sells in Japan it comes to about $600 each!
