Added you to the list.
Pricing information is coming soon. Please read post #1 for details.
wrxtasy555 07-19-2009, 04:55 PM Here are two other pics of my install. One thing I did to make install/uninstall easier was to purchase a separate oem ashtray harness (had to purchase the entire ashtray; ~$25). This way I was able to access the cars light and 12v power without cutting or tapping into the OEM wiring harness.

Unfortunately the track for the door is molded into the ashtray. It would be very expensive to get these molded in plastic (the only way I can think of to retain the track)

These should be ready to ship late next week. We will update this thread if things change. Thanks for your patience.
Subtle-Solutions 07-31-2009, 12:47 PM Oh, I forgot to mention....
We had some issues with the etching on the backside. Since the design has been revised and now accepts 60mm gauges. We plan to have a template available that you can tape on the backside prior to cutting your circles out with a dremel. One template will be for 60mm gauges and the other for 52mm.

Is that supposed to be some type of negotiation?
Is that supposed to be some type of negotiation?
no not at all im just thinking out loud! if you bought something that was made in a similar fashion to something else yet there was a significant price difference as well as a large decrease in physical size wouldnt you question whether or not to pull out your credit card....maybe just a TINY bit.
I can almost predict the responses im going to get but i think its a logical question. with that being said the chances of me buying one are still high and to be honest i probably will! but that's not to say i wont be questioning it the whole time
here we go!
wrxtasy555 11-08-2009, 12:38 PM Haha, yeah i've felt the same about things like that. Where they seem very similar but the prices are so different.
There are just too many factors involved, mainly quantity. Most of what Subtle does are short run custom pieces and coming from someone (me) that has has custom pieces made in short order, I can tell you sometimes what seems simple to others ends up being ridiculously expensive to produce.
^^The short answer.
