<FONT face="Verdana"><FONT COLOR="Navy">Alright everyone, this problem seems to be coming up more and more again with new people joining the board everyday.

The Members List and the Bulletin Board are </FONT c><FONT COLOR="Red">not</FONT c><FONT COLOR="Navy"> the same thing. If you register for one it does not mean you will have access to the other. If you want to use both you have to sign up twice, once for each.

This is simply because we have people who want to post messages that don't own Subaru's and people who own Subaru's who don't want to post. So there is no way the two lists can become one.

Please aknowledge that you have read this with a reply. And I'm asking the older members, as well as anyone on the board now, to let the new people know about this if they ask a question about it. Thanks

Nick, why don't you put a step in the registration process of both members and BBregistration that says exactly what you've said in this message?

I remember that when I was signing up I went to the members area first. Couldn't post, wrote you an E-mail(you never got back to me, I'm hurt) as well as Alex. In the end I had to work it out for myself... I'm sure that everything you've said about needing to sign up in both was posted somewhere other than just in the message threads, but somewhere on the board. Problem is for someone just coming in they usualy don't look at everything, and sure as heck don't read it...

But if you put that extra step in, it'd save you a little bit of trouble in the long run... I'd say just put it in before the rules...

Or even have one spot to go to sign up. And have it just like you have it here.

Not yet... these cars will be added once the cars are actually available at the dealers. To many people in the past have added member listings with 'future purchases' and never actually got the cars. And since they never usually come back to the board I don't know who actually owns a car and who dosen't. So we end up with a lot of bad records in the members list.

So to those of you buying WRXs, be patient... you will be able to add the car as soon as it's available at the dealers. And in the mean time this means no 'creative' member list entries. If I see that I will delete the account immediatly. And who know's what else I might do! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif I wonder if I have enough clout with SOA to cancel orders... hehe... j/k!

I may be the only one, but I never realized that the two were separate. They don't need to be, obviously, but you are limited to what this BB system can do.

I suggest you put some text in the BB, wherever appropriate, to make this absolutely clear to avoid further confusion.
