These are for the GC impreza but have adapters on the rears for fitment to bugeyes (maybe later models too). I've been using these for the past few years. They need some work and it's not worth it for me to put money in to them since I only use them on a DD. They're really for rally tarmac racing from what I understand. They need to be regressed, and one of the inserts need to be sent in to DMS for repair .. the adjuster is broken ... could possibly need an new insert. The busings on the housing are in good condition. Some wear, but I had these looked over by a shop that used to sell these and also used the 50mm's for rally racing and they advised that the bushings are still in good shape even though they were also going to make money by selling me their extra bushings that were sitting around.

I'm working on getting more specific fitment details, and information but wanted to get this posted. I'll update when I get more facts. I'm hoping to find a buyer that is familiar with these, and may even need some back-ups, or would like some cheap tarmac coilovers.

The springs seem to be worth about $200 used, so I'll start at $250 for all of it and take offers. I can have the 3 good struts greased at the above mentioned shop (which would be much cheaper than sending them in to DMS) at your expense so you only have to mess with the broken strut if you like.

what shop quoted these?
40mm units are for street cars, not the full NT 50mm units.
Springs look to be in good shape from your photo, however you have the older style inserts (pre 2001) that can not be re-valved.

Well I'm not sure they would want me to mention them by name in relation to DMS on a public forum since I don't think they have that ability or desire to service other DMS struts. It's just a case of the guys that I was going to have do my alignment happened to have some spare grease sitting around, I believe mainly from personal use.

My understanding is that the DMS 40mm's are technically for street use, but are much better paired with someone who frequently tracks or autoX's their car due to their performance 'nature.'

I will consider just selling the springs. I do hate to part with these, but they just don't make sense for me right now.
