got questions: got a 09 impreza OBS, but why is my OBS ~0.2 inch higher than other imprezas (non turbos)- is it the wheel/tire combo, or the suspension settings or even something else?

reason i ask, because im looking for a front/rear sway/spring setup. any recommendations or pics?

thanks in advance.

I think its the suspension settings, someone correct me if i'm wrong. Also, I believe Perrin is coming out with a rear sway bar system for the 5 door 2.5i/ OBS models in a few months. Or was it Rallitek? Not sure, but one of them is developing a sway bar set for the hatchbacks.

AFAIK there is only one set of springs and struts put on all the NA 09 Subies. The height difference is the wheel/tire combo.

No front sway bar for the NS hatches yet (exhaust interference), but pretty much any rear sway bar will fit, though you need to buy the mounting hardware and endlinks too. THis is the first mod I would do because you've probably noticed that you don't have a rear sway by now.

Rallitek has said they are working on a front sway for the NA hatches. It would be cool if Perrin were making one too.

i talked to the perrin sales/tech people (via email) regarding the OBS, intially it sounded like they were once working on the front sway, but one of the techs told me they have nointentions of making a front sway at this point- but im still interested in there rear sway/front struct/HnR springs.

but for rallitek check out http://www.rallitek.com/rafrreswbark.html not sure if that would fit on the 09 OBS. if so, im getting it! but i also need to check out if their rallitek springs would fit on the OBS with its wheel/tire combo and need to check out what type of drop/stifferness they provide.

The rear looks like a pretty straightforward installation. Cost is definitely better than Perrin...

If you are at all familiar with being under your car, the installation probably won't take you more than 45min.

I have the Rallitek endlinks and really like them. Easy to install and they fit with no problems at all. Of course, as the car had no rear sway before, I have nothing to compare them too, but they seem to do the job well.

RE: the front sway, that looks liekthe same set they've had for a while. I would email them and ask if it will fit a hatch before you buy. That would be awesome.

RE: Springs. I have asked, and recieved no answer as to whether those springs will work with non-WRX OEM struts. Lots of people blow their 2.5i and OBS struts with pinks (though some do not). I'd like to know that these will work on the OEM OBS struts before I buy them.
