Well guys the reason I want out of the "I"
club is because of the morons posting stupid
*****. I know I've posted stupid ***** too,
but I've always done it in an (lame?) attempt
at humour. Specifically the posts regarding
street racing. Some of these guys (gals?)
just don't have a clue! They think it is
safer to steet race than to do it on a track!
I know that you all have seen idiots around
here doing the same thing-just a few days ago
there were 3 guys racing going over Red Hill
Ewa bound and one guy sped by me & Cal in
the left shoulder lane! He overtook about 7
cars, kicking up dust and ***** all the way!
The other 2 guys were weaving in traffic and
came around us on the right side! They were all doing between 75-90 mph. Yeah I know, I've done over that speed before, but not for a while now and not with innocent drivers
around! I've also been told that Subys have
been seen doing the same thing (freeway race)
but I've always argued that they were mistaken!(?). Anyways, I guess to each their
own, so I choose not to be associated with
a club with such reckless members...sure there are good people too, but it's always
the morons that stand out. To the good people
carry on! To the idiots, I'm glad you are
there and I'm here! See ya! Ok, 'Prez, you
can hit the "delete" button now, I'm finished.

I am sorry, but I don't get it. You want to quit because you saw someone racing on the highway? Makes no sense. What does our club have to do with that? I can delete posts and ask people not to post certain things, but no one can tell some guy what to do in his spare time, for example, street racing. There are cops for that. We do not promote street racing. Thats all I have to say.

Here are my thoughts.

1. If you do not want to see yourself on these posts, Don't post anything.

2. If people irritate you on the road and you don't want to associate yourself with them, don't.

3. I don't think it makes a difference if the forum directors delete your name or not on this board if you think otherwise look at #1.

ask once more, please delete my name from
membership. It's MY choice, right?

I don't understand...so what does this mean as far as us here in Hawaii? Is there something you have against us or is it just the people who choose to do their own thing in other parts of the country?

I know you are a good and rational person, but what are you trying to say? I believe what Earl is saying has some merit. But I think I speak for all of us here in Hawaii when I say that we are not like those people who upset you so much (as I think you would know already). If someone wants to be reckless, that is thier own perrogative. By deleting yourself from this site because you don't agree with what they do will serve what purpose?

I would hope you ponder this a little more...

Thanks, Joey. I've just come to a place where
I don't want my name on the "I" club roster,
that's all. Some stuff they post upsets me
so I don't want to be on a registered "list"
of people who identify themselves with that
organization.No knock on anybody here, unless
you endanger the lives of others when you drive. You have your choices in life, I have
mine, I respect yours, can you respect mine?
I asked Imprezer by e-mail to delete me, I
did not say why, but I didn't "bitch and
moan" either. I wished him well and even
said I'd see him if he got to Hawaii. I got
no response by e-mail in 2 days so I ranted!
I knew he'd respond to that. In my mind it's
a simple thing, I don't like it so I leave.
I didn't once say that anybody should be
censored or that posts should be deleted.
I thought I had a choice...

Oh, and nothing personal was directed at
you guys (I thought you already knew that!)
