I was just wondering around what price a 00 RS sedan with MT and about 25,000 miles? I've been looking and from what I can tell $16,000 and up seem about what most people are asking. However edmunds says around 14,900 from the dealer.

How much would a 97 Impreza L Sedan (good condition, some mods, nothing engine, all removeable...new clutch, 60,000 mile service ect MT 65,000 go for?

I really want to buy an RS and I'm trying to figure out if I can afford one.

It all depends on your area. Places that have more RSs, the used ones go for less. The classifieds here usually have a few available, and they tend to go for less here since it's a saturated market. I've seen rediculous prices for RSs on dealer lots. Back when the WRX came out, my RS (one year old, 12K miles) was appraised at $15.5. When I refinanced my RS loan nearly a year later, the bank appraised it at $16.5.

MY00 would most likely be in the high $14G to low $16G range. Residuals dropped when the WRX came out as everyone dumped them for the WRX, but the prices seem to be coming back a bit.
