I think some of the ealy 90's Impreza L's had electronic limiters on the automatic cars, but none of the RS's have one, as far as I know. I think they stopped putting them in around 95-97, but I'm not positive.

Most auto tranny model Subarus are fuel-cut limited to 112mph. Most manual tranny models are not :).

Since an auto tranny MY02 WRX is electronically limited to 130mph, I wonder if that applies to an auto MY02 RS?

Doesn't matter. I don't think it can go that fast anyway. Maybe with a tailwind going downhill. ;)

So ... wouldn't the limit be the rev limiter @ 6250rpm in 5th gear? I know there are many people on this board to be pretty darn close to it

with that in mind, our speed limit will be limited to the revv limiter then. hehee need taller gears and more hp!
