Just had Dunlop 5000s put on my 99rs is 205/55/16. These replaced the stock re-92 s. Quite an improvement.
They were very loud and slippery at first, must be slick mold release agent they use. After about two days of driveing they became quite grippy, much inproved over the stockers. Sidewalls not that much stiffer though, so the car doesn't feel as responsive as I would expect from a z rated tire. This could be interpreted as a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view.
The most noticable difference so far is how quiet they are over bumps and pavement joints. SUCH and improvement.
OVerall, if you have to go the all-season route, like I did, these are teh best game in town.
