It sure was. I looked in my rearview and got a knot in the pit of my stomach. I could here my insurance rates rising. I wasn't looking at my speedo but the middle of 3rd gear = :devil: in that area.

I am really impressed with your car. The last car I had an "acceleration test" with was a turbo'd integra, it was a much closer race between you and me.
What do you have done?

It's an all motor RS....that's all I'll say for now :). You had me by a bumper until my 2-3 shift when my clutch stuck to the floor. It has 650 dollars into the motor. To the top of third in mine, 70mph, you might have had me by a full fender, or possibly just a wheel-length. It'll be interesting with more bolt ons to see what I find. That ECU reflash has really got me wondering. No custom stuff, yet, just more smoothness. What I thought was funny was that we both bogged on the start. We're both at 5000ft now :devil:, that may never go away. We both got enough attention though. I'm glad I don't do that often. I pulled over right after you when the third party joined in. That would have really hurt. I'm glad it was cheaper to find out I can keep up with a stock WRX . :lol:

It sounds like you guys must have a ton of subie knowledge (including driving tips) that I could benefit from. If you'd like to coach a newbie that is :D
