So, my passenger side front speaker on my 1 year old WRX with upgraded speaker package sounds to me like it is blown out.
If I am listening to talk radio, I know, but I do sometimes to hear the traffic reports, it sounds horrible, music not so bad cause the other speakers sound fine and they overshadow the broken sound. I don't listen to any crazy thumping music, merely R&R.
Can I bring it in and ask for a new speaker be installed....will they tell me that I blew it out with music that was too loud? What do you think.

Its covered for 36,000 or 3 years. Which ever comes first. Its possible that its worked loose. and just vibrating.

i had the exact same problem(same speaker locataion as well) I took it in and it was replaced not once but twice...seems to be working ok now.
