So I was cruising down in my new WRX (silver wagon) on Route 130 with nobody in sight. I hadn't seen anybody at all for a good 30 minutes. Well, while driving up a hill, my vision was obstructed... and, after passing this summit a deer jumped infront of me, allowing me only a fraction of a second to respond. I swerved to the right - but it was too late. I swiped the doe. It flew onto my hood and was bounced right off, 20 feet off the road. Luckily (relative to my otherwise horrible fate), I found a pay phone on the side of the road, about 300 feet from the incident. I made a call to AAA and then ran back to where the deer had fallen to make sure that it was dead; fortunately, and I mean fortunately, it was. Remember, there was nobody in sight. If it were still alive I'd have to figure out something to end its misery. 5 hours laters a towtruck arrived - 10 hours later I arrived at my house.

In short, the front-left side of my car is history. I'll upload photos ASAP. Pray with me for a 'totaled' judgement...
