I would welcome any thoughts on this. A while back when it started to get hot I turn on the A/C and guess what?
That's right, no A/C. Austin Subaru says the evaporator was punctured by a rock possible while driving down the
highway and all the coolant leaked out. They don't want to cover this under warranty and want $800 plus change to
repair. How the heck could the evaporator get punctured?

we have seen some people claim it on there insurance policy.

how many miles on the car?

the cause is from an outside influance, like if a rock hit your windshield. do you think subaru would cover that?

do they want to do the receiver drier at the sametime?
how is the breakdown on parts and labor?
