View Full Version : Lights won't turn off!! mtb_dude 06-18-2002, 04:11 PM I washed my car this morning and an hour ago I noticed the lights were still on. :confused: I thought the lights couldn't be on without the key? Has anyone had this before? I might take it for a ride and see if some relays are wet. So, if you're stuck on the side of the road but need to leave the car with some sort of lights on (and you want to take the key with you) you flip the switch on top of the steering column. It looks like the day time running lights and the rear brake lights stay on with the switch on. Funny how I remeber my dealer telling me about this NOW. I was so excited when I first sat in my car that the dealer run-through kinda sounded like the teacher from Peanuts!
