My times werent bad I think they could be better but it is good for know. trap speed seems a bit low. I am making 250 whp at 17lbs tapering off to 15.5 at redline (I like to be safe) my time slip tonight was;

trap speed is a little low for my liking I was hoping for 103 but its fast enough for me I not trying to set a new record just want to have fun.

nice time what elevation are you at?

someware around 800-1000 feet above stock rexs are running 14.5 to14.6 at best but a stock type r with sticky tires ran a 14.8

Yeah mister speedy was only 4 sec faster than my rs tonight :p :lol: (his secret was the chicken nuggets ;))
His times would be even faster if he wasn't talking to his gf on his cell while he was going down the track :p

something isn't right at all. Those are my identical times for my first stage (catless t-back, unichip, stock turbo) and I was making 230awhp and 235awhp tq. That was at 700ft in 85 deg weather too.

I'd get back on the dyno and/or check your datalogging that is a really slow time for that you have. you should be close to a second faster.

Thats about right I am not running a boost controler and I have my boost tapering off pretty good.

ok, how is adding MORE mods and a bigger turbo and getting the same time right? Explain that to me. I'm just trying to help you. 13.5 is pathetic for a turbo upgrade. Just to put in perspective, with turboback and a VF23 at 15psi a certain individual ran a 13.0@103 with a 1.83 60'. Yes, 13.5 is off indeed.

Keystone Raceway seems to be the slowest dragstrip in the country for some reason. It's freshly paved and has about as much grip as ice does. Even my slow RS has traction problems on that track.

You should be able to run those times without the VF30, Injectors, fuel pump, etc.
I ran consistant mid 13s with Turboxs stage 2 setup. 13.3 @101 being my fastest.

The last time I went to the track with my stage 4 setup I ran a best time of 8.18 @ 84 mph in the 1/8 mile so you can see you times are way off the mark.

You mentioned stock WRX's running mid 14s. Thats very normal. At our track they run mid 14s and up.

Were you dropping the clutch at 4-5k or slipping it?

I have a similar setup as you. 250WHP, FP turbo, turboback, bla bla bla. unichip tuned, boost ALSO tapering like yours is


with a 1.9 60ft time I ran a 13.3

with a 1.7 60ft time I ran a 12.9

your mph is a bit low, something may be wrong, either with car or track.

You should be running high 12s with that setup.

In the heat last night I trapped at 96mph a couple times with:
homemade mbc, k&n drop in, silencer hack...you beat my speed by 2mph with several thousand dollars in mods...I'd say something is very wrong with the car. My 60' was worse than yours too... 1.87 for me.

I have just Vishnu Stage 0 and ran 13.097 @ 103 w/muffler removed, at 320 feet. The time is not bad... but the trap speed is pathetic, no offense, for what you have done. With just an EBC I was running 13.7s @ 98 mph w/1.9XX sixties...
