The weather today did not make the best track conditions to run in, but I went anyway. With less than $300 in mods on the wagon, I was impressed. I think my 60' could use a tiny bit of work, but I only made two passes. They were within 0.02 of each other, so I didn't run anymore. I launched at 5300 and 5900, the higher rpm reducing my 60' only by 0.015. I'd say 5500 range is good. First pass, I took my friend's I/H ITR out by a full second and 4mph. Second pass, I pulled a holeshot on a six speed LS1 Z28 on the juice, then got clobbered mid track.
Here's the results:
Temp: 90 degrees
Relative Humidity: 80%
60': 1.91
1/8: 8.81@78.53mph
1/4: 13.83@98.26mph
I'm quite pleased with the traps from these few mods. My plan is to get some Samco IC hoses and a water sprayer, then go back for a few more passes in the fall.
My mods are silencer cut w/ K&N drop in, MBC@15psi, uppipe, and a custom axle back. 4000 miles on the odo.
