possibly w/o a s/c(we'll say it DOES have a s/c)


who do you think would win? from a light AND a roll..

Hey if its the guy I think your going to race. Does he have a white saleen 98 model? It has a supercharger. THe guy who drives it is kind of overweight. I was supposed to race him in my wrx, but it broke on me. I raced him in my bros stock wrx. I almost won, but lost by half a car lenght. Hes a ****ty driver! and didnt belive I had a stock car. He was going to bet me 500 dollars to race me in my old car with him having 3 lengths. IF its him Im me at Icemanzx18 on aim.

oops, forgot to add that its one of the new ones(new style) and its a convertable. and this guy lives next door to me(houston)

you want to race a saleen? hes willing to bet 100 dollars and I am sure you will win. THey talk alot of crap about wrx's. Mine is broken so yea I cant do it. I will put in the money on it. I know you will win!

I raced a 02 convertible from about 40mph and pulled him to 100+...only had about half a car length.
Although he had a passenger and the top down.
BTW, I have basically the same mods w/out the vf30 and cut out.

If he has a S/C not sure, but if not you will definetly take him from a stop.

Are you the guy I was racing about a month ago on Westheimer and 6. We were both playing w/ a S2000 and there were a few other WRX's around as well. I was the guy in one of the black ones who asked you why your car was so loud.

Yeah that's right, I was in the sedan. So, is the guy w/ the saleen going to the track w/ you next Sunday?

nope, hes just some idiot next door who thinks hes hot stuff. Im starting to think he is either 16 or 17 cuz he thinks his car must be bad and faster than every car out there. every time Im in the neighborhood going in the opposite direction he is, he barks his engine. one time I was leaving my house and taking a left at the stop sign and he was there(i live on a corner lot) and he red lines his engine while looking at me. I just flipped him the bird cuz my folks were asleep and it kinda ticked me off(was around 10:30-11pm). its just getting to the point where Im about to lay down the smaketh:devil: i just cant wait to see his reaction when I have exaust opened up and I drive by him:lol:

If it is an S281, I know they make them NA but I've only seen them with superchargers. Stock for stock the super charged S281 is really fast in a straight line, same numbers as a stock vette (about 13.5 in the 1/4 mile @ 106). I looked really hard at buying this car instead of my now defunct WRX.

If you have a VF30 and some kind of ECU to control it, you should blow him away at most any speed.

If you take him to a track, you will beat him even if you are stock - the Saleen handles better than the stock Mustang, but not nearly as well as a wrx. IMHO.

hmm...thanks for the input:cool: well, if they run 13.5's stock then hes in for a shock. I ran a 13.5 before the turbo upgrade and the EBC(had an MBC before):devil:
