Instead of bringing back up my old page, I just brought back the Subaru 1/4 Mile Registry that should be up for a nice, long, long time. If you see your name on this website and the times are incorrect, please feel free to send me an update. Here is the link to the upstarting website: Subaru 1/4 Mile Registry (http://members.home.net/myxalplyx/Registry.html). I'll be updating the site constantly. Im no html expert but I just need a place to know who's running what #'s, especially when the new WRX's come out.

We could communicate with those with the better track #'s to improve on our current setup and a host of other things you wish to use this info for. Please could you send me the following info:

1/4 mile time and trap speed *Obviously*
60ft time
1/8th mile time and speed
Power Source: N/A, turbo, supercharger, Nos, Solar Energy!?!, etc, etc
Year and Model of car
Your name and date the ticket
The track that you ran the time at

If you have a personal website that you'd like visited, please send that also. And finally, if you like, I can add a link to your email address in case someone has a question to as of your setup or what not. See the website for an example of how the info would be setup that you'd send me.

I'll be updating the site feverishly and try to add new features as time allow. Enjoy it and hopefully I can get alot of times.

BTW: If if you have crappy times but those times are you best as of now, don't be shy of sending them in. We all can learn from your experience.

Send your email too my PM or my email addres at: thomasck@home.com

Take Care all!

There should be a link to a mod list for each car.

Kevin Thomas

Click on the name of the car for each owner. Some people are interested in the looks while others are for the mods. Since mods are more 1/4 mile related than looks for obvious reasons, I'll change back the ones I know of to 'mod links'. Thanks for the suggestion. Check back in a 1/2 hour. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif

Update: Most entries have links to a page with the car's modifications. If you are on the list and I don't have a link to your mod page and you would like me to add it, feel free to send me an email to add the link. Thanks!

Thanks Spunky!

What was your 1/8th mile trap speed, the track you did it at and the time you did it. Just trying to be consistant with the info on the site.

Let me know what happens with the cams and NOS. That sounds like a sweet setup. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif

If you consider cams, heads, etc bolt-on's, I think Trey Cobb got his N/A impreza into the 14's?

I redid my dbase now to use the drag time format.I dont mean to compete with you kevin, I was just following Trey's suggestion in an earlier thread. I only have your time and Adam's time now. My dbase allows users to add the drag times to the page directly instead of having them email it to me and me put it up. I was looking to do the same dbase for autoxes/rallys/meets and parts/reviews/groupbuys. But i hear that the new i-club site(whatever that is http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif ) is gonna have an awesome parts db.

Let me know if you mind me adding your 1/4 mile registry to mine.
www.geocities.com/nick_sti/ (http://www.geocities.com/nick_sti/)
then go to dbase in the menu.

Nick,

I don't mind at all. I just didn't see one up for so long I figured I might as well go with it. I didn't/don't have any plans for autox times or anything, just 1/4 mile times. Since everyone here knows I am a 1/4 mile fanatic, I figured I might as well go ahead and set one up. I'll be keeping it updated on a consistent bases. The 1/4 mile is my life. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif

It'll still be up even when the I clubs 1/4 mile database goes up. It'll be for my personal reference database if not anything else.

MichiganRS,

Check the site. There are a couple of people there that have ran low 15's. You can check what mods they have and also email them if you have any questions.

BTW: Nick, I have an automatic tranny. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif

Kevin -- you'll be getting a bunch of timeslip info from us up here in Vancouver so get ready to update your registry in a few weeks! A local motorsports club has a nearby drag strip rented for the day and a bunch of us Vancouver i-Club guyz will be going!

Our drag day is May 21st.

Come one come all! Send me those 1/4 mile times if you can. I'm right on it and the page is constantly being updated.

BTW: I'm trying to make this page more accessible to more people by putting it in search engines like Google, AltaVista, Webcrawler, etc, etc. I need some help on this. I keep submitting the page but the page doesn't even show up when you type in Subaru 1/4 mile registry or any combination of words. If you look at the site, I have a good bit of things in my meta tags but they aren't being picked up. Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks and happy 1/4 Mile'ing.

Just letting a few people know that the Subaru 1/4 Mile Registry is down for the moment. Since @home went bankrupt and Comcast has taken over operations, I need to get everything set up with Comcast. It shouldn't be a problem but just letting a few people know what's up if they happen to stop by the site and it's down. I'll post the new address up as soon as I get everything squared away. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Could you please move this post to the Proven Power Bragging Forum? If so, it would be greatly appreciated. It seems it would be better suited for that forum rather than old school.

The reason why I am posting is that I have been considering adding a modifications page. All these 1/4 mile times are piling up and being sent in but if you just look at the page, you have no idea on what modifications have been made to the car to make it run it's time. I used to link to the I-clubs modifications database but that seems to have been down for some time now.

If you car to submit your modifcation(s) that you have done to your car in to me, I will be making up a website so a that people can view your mods. Thanks in advance!
