I took my WRX to the dealer twice with first and second gear syncro problems and the dealer told me tough.

The first time was with 2000 mi and zero mods to the vehicle.

The second time the car was lightly moded-still they did nothing to fix the problem.

Now the tranny has locked up and will not go into ANY gear after I shifted from 1st to second with a loud and nasty sound.

What other dealers can I go to that have a clue about how to fix this near Louisville KY. I will trailor my car almost anywhere to get the service done right the first time. It should be under warrenty since they did nothing to fix the problem the first time or the second time.

i dunno.. you're 8 hours from my dealer of choice... Prestige Subaru in Asheville, NC.

Are you dealing with Bachman Subaru or the one on Dixie????

Bachman is the one who said tough because they did not know how to fix it.

I'm not sure if Neil Huffman will warrenty it or what?

BYTHEWAY: I will drive to NC if they will cover it under warrenty.

It's Douglas from the team, I thought I would see you on here eventually..Anyway, let me tell you about Bachman...they are idiots. i was gonna buy a new RS from them unitl I checked out the service dept and talked to some of the salesman. They are fucckkking pathetic..In every way. Service was incompetent and the sales dept. could answer none of my questions about the car. I ended up buying from Neil Huffman. 1000 times better in every way. Give 'em a call first and tell them about Bachman's incompetence, then say that if they are willing to work with you you will buy from them from now on...You should get the problems fixed with no hassles. And I really don't know if they are mod friendly so take -em off before you go in.................Later, Dug
