I had the same thing happen to me, at least the egg part. And I also have the same ring of chips in the paint. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/frown.gif Can't believe the paint is so weak! My car is also silver, so it barely shows. When I show somebody, they always say "you can barely see it, it's like it's not there." But it is there, and I know it, and it pisses me off. BTW, mine got hit on the drivers side rear quarter panel.

As for the paint chips, come out to one of the MidWest club's meets, we have a few people heavy into detailing.. Should be able to polish or blend those chips into invisibility...

You know I am starting to not even be shocked or surprised anymore when I hear about this kind of crap. I still say a paintball gun with jawbreakers will cure their need to vandalize somebody's car. Sure you might hurt a few of them but their more likely to remember to not do it again if they hurt for a few days. That or buy one of the fully auto BB guns from here in Japan and let loose.

mmmm airsoft guns... i'm waiting to inflict some pain on someone with mine if they touch my car. they shoot as fast as the real guns, and have clips that are 2x as big... so fun!

I had just finished cruising the local hot spot in the Subaru with 2 fine girls last night. I was sitting in my house relaxing when my car alarm starts going off, then I see a p'up truck loaded with jarhead high school punks peeling away. I took one egg square in the trunk, and the crap couldn't have been on there for more than 2 minutes before I cleaned it off with the spray detailer. Now I have a nice ring of tiny paint chips where the egg hit. Good thing it's not very noticeable on the silver paint. If it was on the z, I would be out buying a glock right now.
